DESCRIPTION:Presentation and Bird Walk at Historic Sotterley\nLeader: Dean Newman \nLearn about identifying birds\, how your smart phone can make you an identification expert and how to properly use your binoculars.  Immediately following the presentation\, Dean Newman\, an avid wildlife photographer\, speaker and veteran bird guide\, will lead a walk around the Historic Sotterley grounds helping you put into practice what you learned.\n\nThe presentation starts promptly at 8:00 am\, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior.\nWe will be meeting in the barn. Please bring binoculars and a field guide but don’t worry if you don’t have either. Suggested to wear comfortable walking shoes and weather appropriate attire. For all levels of birdwatchers. Registration is appreciated as space is limited.  Register at Sotterley.org.
