SUMMARY:Learn how you can join the Christmas Bird Count
DESCRIPTION:In-person Presentation\nThe annual Christmas Bird Count is the longest-running community science project in the United States. And you don’t have to be an expert birder to participate. \nSouthern Maryland Audubon President Molly Moore will teach you all you need to know to join this year’s count\, whether you are a beginner or expert birder. Learn how the data provided by hundreds of thousands of birders —like you—over the past 124 years has contributed to improving bird habitat and helping birds survive and thrive. \nWeather permitting\, we will practice our skills on the library campus after the presentation. We will have loaner binoculars. \nPlease register at St. Mary’s Library events page. \nMeeting Room B\nLexington Park Library\n21677 FDR Blvd.\, Lexington Park\, MD
