The Farmland Raptor Program focuses on four species—American Kestrels, American Barn Owls, Short-eared Owls, and Northern Harriers. This volunteer-powered group is helping to change what we know about some of Maryland’s most difficult-to-study raptors.  Alex will share what the program is learning, why these birds matter in Maryland, and how landowners, volunteers, and others can get involved.
